What makes AP different?
Architectural photography is a specialty.
For more than twenty-five years I've focused almost exclusively on photographing architecture, interiors, and hospitality spaces. Every assignment is approached with the understanding that months—or often years—of planning, design, and craftsmanship have gone into creating the finished project.
My role is to create photographs that honor that work.

Rather than photographing a space as quickly as possible, I carefully craft each image through thoughtful composition, controlled lighting, and close collaboration with the design team. The result is a collection of photographs created for publication, marketing, awards, and long-term portfolio use—not simply documentation of the project.
What should I expect on the day of the shoot?
Every project begins with a walkthrough.
Together we'll review the property, discuss priorities, and determine which spaces best tell the story of the design. We plan the day's schedule around the movement of natural light, architectural features, and your marketing goals.
Each image is built deliberately. Furniture, styling, lighting, and composition are refined until every photograph represents the project at its highest level.
Because our focus is quality rather than speed, a typical day produces a carefully curated collection of finished images rather than hundreds of similar frames.
How many photographs will we receive?
Rather than charging by the hour, photography is based on a planned shot list.
Most projects fall into one of two packages depending on the size of the property and your marketing needs. Before every shoot we'll discuss exactly which spaces should be photographed so expectations are clear from the beginning.

How do you light your interiors?
Lighting is one of the most important parts of architectural photography.
Every room responds differently to natural light, finishes, textures, and architectural details. We combine available light with carefully controlled supplemental lighting to create images that feel natural while preserving the atmosphere the designer intended.
Depending on the complexity of the space, a single finished photograph may take anywhere from thirty minutes to two hours to create.
Do you photograph using HDR?
My approach relies on carefully crafted lighting and meticulous post-production rather than automated HDR workflows.
This allows me to maintain accurate color, realistic lighting, and a natural sense of depth while preserving the atmosphere of the space. The goal is photography that feels timeless rather than processed.
How is pricing structured?
Photography is quoted based on the project, the number of final images, licensing requirements, travel, and production needs.
Every assignment is different, so estimates are prepared specifically for your project.
If you already have a shot list, floor plans, or marketing goals, send them along and I'll prepare a detailed proposal.
How far in advance should we schedule?
For residential projects, two to three weeks' notice is ideal.
Larger commercial and hospitality projects often require additional planning, so scheduling earlier is recommended whenever possible.
If you're working toward a publication deadline or grand opening, let us know and we'll do everything possible to accommodate your schedule.
Do you travel?
Absolutely.
I'm based in South Florida and regularly photograph projects throughout Florida and across the United States. Travel can easily be incorporated into your estimate.
What is your turnaround time?
Most completed galleries are delivered within one week.
If your project has a publication deadline or other time-sensitive requirements, expedited delivery is often available.
What happens if weather or construction delays the project?
Construction schedules change, and we understand that.
Deposits may be transferred to a rescheduled date when sufficient notice is provided. If your project is delayed because of weather or construction, we'll work with you to find the next available date.
